Alguna amiga o familiar se ha podido topar con esta dura realidad que <a title=\"Beb\u00e9s prematuros\" href=\"http:\/\/sociedad.elpais.com\/sociedad\/2013\/05\/26\/actualidad\/1369591413_977016.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">en Espa\u00f1a afecta a m\u00e1s del 8% de los reci\u00e9n nacidos<\/a>. Se considera un <b>beb\u00e9 prematuro<\/b> aquel que nace por debajo de las 37 semanas de gestaci\u00f3n. \u00a0Se llaman inmaduros a los beb\u00e9s nacidos antes de las 35 semanas; lo que conlleva el paso por la incubadora para controlar su temperatura, respiraci\u00f3n e incluso alimentaci\u00f3n. En funci\u00f3n del grado de prematuriedad estos beb\u00e9s ser\u00e1n atendidos en el servicio de <b>Neonatolog\u00eda<\/b> o bien en una <b>Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales<\/b> (UCIN).<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Supervivencia de beb\u00e9s prematuros\" href=\"http:\/\/elpais.com\/diario\/2008\/04\/15\/sociedad\/1208210401_850215.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Los avances m\u00e9dicos han permitido la supervivencia de estos peque\u00f1os<\/a> valientes. El actual reto de los especialistas y personal m\u00e9dico que los atiende es darles una adecuada calidad de vida.<\/p>\n<p>Una vez superada la estancia hospitalaria los padres se enfrentan al momento de llegar a casa. El beb\u00e9 prematuro necesita unos cuidados precisos y ligeramente diferentes a los de cualquier beb\u00e9 nacido a t\u00e9rmino. Los padres, en muchas ocasiones primerizos, viven una dura situaci\u00f3n emocional donde el miedo y la alegr\u00eda se entremezclan.<\/p>\n<p>Si algo necesita una nueva familia es tranquilidad e intimidad, pero en los casos de beb\u00e9s prematuros esto cobra especial importancia. Se recomienda <b>controlar las visitas<\/b> por la salud del peque\u00f1o, un simple catarro, por ejemplo, puede derivar en serias complicaciones. Por ello es importante que tanto los padres como las personas que tengan contacto con el beb\u00e9 tengan una minuciosa higiene para evitar infecciones.<\/p>\n<p>La <b>alimentaci\u00f3n<\/b> de estos chiquitines tambi\u00e9n tiene su toque diferente. Se recomiendan tomas m\u00e1s peque\u00f1as y frecuentes, vigilando siempre su respiraci\u00f3n y su succi\u00f3n. La <a title=\"Lactancia materna en beb\u00e9s prematuros\" href=\"http:\/\/www.consumer.es\/web\/es\/salud\/2004\/12\/06\/112948.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">lactancia materna<\/a> contribuir\u00e1 de modo positivo en muchos aspectos, adem\u00e1s de favorecer su alimentaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Se debe cuidar la temperatura ambiental pues su mecanismo de regulaci\u00f3n corporal puede no estar a\u00fan maduro.
