El nombre procede de lo que se detecta en los cuerpos de las personas afectadas, es decir: los gl\u00f3bulos rojos se destruyen (hem\u00f3losis), los niveles de enzimas hep\u00e1ticas se elevan y el recuento de plaquetas es demasiado bajo.<\/p>\n<p>Se trata de una complicaci\u00f3n que puede tener lugar durante el embarazo pero que es muy, muy rara. S\u00f3lo se da en entre un 0,1 y 0,8% de los embarazos y de esos, alrededor del 80% de los casos est\u00e1n relacionados con la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/preeclampsia-embarazo\/\">preeclampsia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Las mujeres que m\u00e1s riesgo tienen<\/strong> de sufrir el s\u00edndrome HELLP durante el embarazo <strong>son aquellas con antecedentes de preeclampsia<\/strong> o del propio s\u00edndrome, bien en embarazos previos o en familiares cercanas como hermanas y madres.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-42724 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/s\u00edndrome-de-hellp-embarazo-1.jpg\" alt=\"s\u00edndrome de hellp embarazo\" width=\"301\" height=\"301\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/s\u00edndrome-de-hellp-embarazo-1.jpg 301w, https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/s\u00edndrome-de-hellp-embarazo-1-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/s\u00edndrome-de-hellp-embarazo-1-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/s\u00edndrome-de-hellp-embarazo-1-66x66.jpg 66w, https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/s\u00edndrome-de-hellp-embarazo-1-200x200.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 301px) 100vw, 301px\" \/>Qu\u00e9 causa el s\u00edndrome HELLP<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Como hemos comentado, est\u00e1 <strong>relacionado en la mayor\u00eda de los casos con la preeclampsia<\/strong>. Sin embargo, no se han descubierto los motivos por los que podr\u00edan estar relacionadas ambas enfermedades ni las causas exactas de ninguna de las dos.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente, las teor\u00edas se centran en la posibilidad de <strong>que las defensas maternas est\u00e9n rechazando la placenta<\/strong> por alg\u00fan motivo y creando anticuerpos contra ella, <strong>que el feto est\u00e9 falto de alguna enzima <\/strong>o incluso <strong>que sea una anomal\u00eda en el desarrollo de la placenta.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Cu\u00e1les son los s\u00edntomas<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>La mayor\u00eda de los casos de s\u00edndrome HELLP<\/strong> tienen lugar durante el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/tercer-trimestre-de-embarazo-sintomas-habituales\/\">tercer trimestre de embarazo<\/a>, antes del parto, con solo el 30% d\u00e1ndose en alg\u00fan momento de las 48 horas posteriores a dar a luz.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Los s\u00edntomas del s\u00edndrome HELLP son variados y graves<\/strong>, pero en muchas ocasiones se confunden con otras enfermedades o s\u00edndromes menos complicados.<\/p>\n<p>Estos son los s\u00edntomas a los que <strong>hay que prestar atenci\u00f3n<\/strong> para tratar el s\u00edndrome HELLP a tiempo.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>El s\u00edntoma m\u00e1s frecuente<\/strong> es el dolor abdominal, bajo el estern\u00f3n, en la zona del h\u00edgado y del est\u00f3mago.<\/li>\n<li>Sufre <strong>n\u00e1useas, v\u00f3mitos y malestar<\/strong> en el est\u00f3mago de forma constante. Hay que tener mucho cuidado de no confundir este s\u00edntoma con una infecci\u00f3n por virus, hepatitis o <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/hiperemesis-gravidica-cuales-son-sus-sintomas\/\">hiper\u00e9mesis grav\u00eddica<\/a><\/u> (esta suele darse m\u00e1s en el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/primer-trimestre-de-embarazo-sintomas-y-molestias-habituales\/\">primer trimestre de embarazo<\/a> que en el tercero). <strong>Diagnosticar err\u00f3neamente cualquiera de estos, podr\u00eda llevar a la muerte de la madre<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>La futura mam\u00e1 sufre <strong>alteraciones visuales<\/strong> y <strong>dolores de cabeza intensos<\/strong> y repetidos.<\/li>\n<li>La piel empieza a tornarse de color amarillento (sufre<strong> ictericia<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<li>La mujer embazada acumula l\u00edquidos en el abdomen (<strong>ascitis<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<li>La orina es de color oscuro o <strong>deja de orinar<\/strong> con la frecuencia habitual.<\/li>\n<li>Se siente <strong>cansada<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Sufre<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tanto desde el primer momento como despu\u00e9s, <strong>el s\u00edndrome HELLP puede llevar a complicaciones graves<\/strong> de las que tambi\u00e9n es importante estar pendiente:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Desprendimientos de retina<\/li>\n<li>Encharcamiento de los pulmones<\/li>\n<li>Hematomas, roturas e infartos hep\u00e1ticos<\/li>\n<li>Insuficiencia renal<\/li>\n<li>CID (Coagulaci\u00f3n intravascular diseminada). La sangre no coagula correctamente.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/que-es-el-desprendimiento-de-placenta-y-por-que-ocurre\/\">Desprendimiento de placenta<\/a> abrupto y prematuro.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Para <strong>poder diagnosticar correctamente<\/strong> y de forma temprana el s\u00edndrome HELLP, es imprescindible tener en cuenta los antecedentes y <strong>prestar atenci\u00f3n a los s\u00edntomas<\/strong> leves que puedan aparecer: dolores abdominales, v\u00f3mitos y alteraciones visuales.<\/p>\n<p>Ser\u00e1 necesario <strong>solicitar un an\u00e1lisis de sangre<\/strong> que determine si existe anemia y que el ri\u00f1\u00f3n y las enzimas hep\u00e1ticas se encuentran en perfecto estado y funcionando correctamente.<\/p>\n<p>Este an\u00e1lisis deber\u00eda realizarse en cualquier mujer embarazada que desarrolle hipertensi\u00f3n arterial.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-42726 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/s\u00edndrome-de-hellp-embarazo-2.jpg\" alt=\"s\u00edndrome de hellp embarazo\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/s\u00edndrome-de-hellp-embarazo-2.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/s\u00edndrome-de-hellp-embarazo-2-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/s\u00edndrome-de-hellp-embarazo-2-66x66.jpg 66w, https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/s\u00edndrome-de-hellp-embarazo-2-200x200.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>C\u00f3mo se trata el s\u00edndrome HELLP<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>No hay m\u00e1s cura para el s\u00edndrome HELLP que dar a luz<\/strong>. Por lo tanto, si se diagnostica s\u00edndrome HELLP, se recomienda el internamiento inmediato en el hospital y en la unidad de cuidados intensivos y una vez all\u00ed, se programar\u00e1 el parto de acuerdo con las necesidades de cada caso.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dependiendo del estado de maduraci\u00f3n del beb\u00e9 y de la salud de la madre<\/strong>, se puede sugerir la maduraci\u00f3n artificial de los pulmones antes de provocar el parto para dar mejor pron\u00f3stico de supervivencia.<\/p>\n<p>Al mismo tiempo, se monitoriza y trata la presi\u00f3n arterial de la madre y vigila la funci\u00f3n renal.<\/p>\n<p>La <strong>forma habitual de <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/parto-programado\/\"><strong>parto programado<\/strong><\/a> en casos de s\u00edndrome HELLP suele ser la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/cesareas-respetadas\/\"><strong>ces\u00e1rea<\/strong><\/a><strong> vertical<\/strong>. Esto es as\u00ed, porque se entiende que hay menos riesgo de que la madre sufra una hemorragia y disminuye las probabilidades de que madre y\/o beb\u00e9 sufran una infecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Tras el parto, la madre necesitar\u00e1 permanecer en vigilancia continua durante un tiempo. Es normal empezar a <strong>notar una mejor\u00eda a partir del d\u00eda 4,<\/strong> pero aun as\u00ed la recuperaci\u00f3n es lenta y no debe apresurarse.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Como te hemos comentado al principio, <strong>el s\u00edndrome HELLP es muy raro<\/strong>. Pero al tratarse de una complicaci\u00f3n grave <strong>es importante que no quites hierro a los s\u00edntomas<\/strong>. Si crees que tus dolores o s\u00edntomas no son normales en tu embarazo, no dudes en exigir las pruebas necesarias<strong>.
