Seguro que has o\u00eddo hablar de una de las m\u00e1s conocidas, la oxitocina, que, entre otras cosas, participa en la <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/lactancia-subida-leche\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">subida de la leche<\/a><\/strong> o en que te enamores de tu beb\u00e9. Pero hay otra hormona que te ayudar\u00e1 en el parto y de la que hoy te vamos a contar m\u00e1s: <strong>la relaxina<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es la relaxina?<\/h2>\n<p>Seg\u00fan el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cun.es\/diccionario-medico\/terminos\/relaxina\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Diccionario M\u00e9dico<\/a> de la Cl\u00ednica Universidad de Navarra, la relaxina es:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Hormona pept\u00eddica segregada por el cuerpo l\u00fateo en el embarazo, que facilita el parto a trav\u00e9s de la inducci\u00f3n de cambios en la movilidad de las articulaciones sacroil\u00edaca y de la s\u00ednfisis pubiana. Adicionalmente aumenta la respuesta uterina a la oxitocina y promueve el crecimiento tubuloalveolar de la gl\u00e1ndula mamaria\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>As\u00ed, de tir\u00f3n, puede que esta definici\u00f3n tan cient\u00edfica no te diga mucho. Por eso te vamos a contar un poco m\u00e1s acerca de cu\u00e1l es su papel.<\/p>\n<p>La relaxina es la encargada de <strong>inhibir las contracciones espont\u00e1neas de la musculatura del \u00fatero<\/strong> y tambi\u00e9n de favorecer el trabajo en las<a href=\"https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/cuales-son-las-etapas-del-parto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong> etapas del parto<\/strong><\/a>. Adem\u00e1s, parece que hay evidencia de que la relaxina est\u00e1 relacionada con el ablandamiento del cuello del \u00fatero cuando se aproxima la fecha del parto.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfCu\u00e1l es el papel de la relaxina durante el embarazo?<\/h2>\n<p>El papel de la relaxina no se circunscribe en exclusiva al momento del parto, tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 presente durante el embarazo. Y es que esta hormona es la responsable de la <strong>mayor elasticidad<\/strong> que se observa tanto en m\u00fasculos como en articulaciones en este periodo de tu vida.<\/p>\n<p>Como ocurre con otras hormonas, su nivel no es estable durante todo el embarazo, tu cuerpo alcanzar\u00e1 el pico m\u00e1ximo de relaxina durante el segundo trimestre, cerca del cuarto mes de embarazo. \u00bfCu\u00e1l es su papel entonces? La producci\u00f3n de esta hormona <strong>inhibe la producci\u00f3n de col\u00e1geno<\/strong>, lo que hace que los ligamentos sean m\u00e1s el\u00e1sticos.<\/p>\n<p>Es importante tener en cuenta que el efecto de la relaxina en el parto puede ser muy beneficioso, pero su papel en el embarazo puede no serlo tanto. \u00bfHas o\u00eddo hablar de que las embarazadas son m\u00e1s propensas a sufrir esguinces y contracturas? Pues aqu\u00ed tienes una posible explicaci\u00f3n, \u00e9chale la culpa a la relaxina.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfC\u00f3mo evitar los efectos adversos de la relaxina en el embarazo?<\/h3>\n<p>Evitar los posibles efectos adversos de la relaxina durante el embarazo es muy sencillo. Solo has de ser cuidadosa y consciente de los movimientos que realizas. Por ejemplo, sigue las <strong>recomendaciones de higiene postural<\/strong> cuando vayas a levantar algo, agach\u00e1ndote primero con las rodillas dobladas y poni\u00e9ndote en pie controlando la espalda. Por otro lado, cuando vayas a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/entrenamiento-embarazo-crys-diaz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>entrenar durante el embarazo<\/strong><\/a> es muy importante que no te olvides del calentamiento previo. Si siempre es b\u00e1sico hacerlo, a\u00fan lo es m\u00e1s si est\u00e1s embarazada, recuerda que practicar ejercicio con los m\u00fasculos fr\u00edos puede conllevar alguna lesi\u00f3n.
