Uno de los puntos recurrentes sobre el que se suele hacer hincapi\u00e9 es <strong>si las vacunas deber\u00edan ser obligatorias<\/strong>. Y es que, debido a la gratuidad de las mismas, se suele pensar en vacunas obligatorias, pero en Espa\u00f1a no lo son.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Las vacunas en Espa\u00f1a son gratuitas -casi todas- pero no obligatorias. Ponerlas, o no, es decisi\u00f3n de los padres.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Vacunas obligatorias: el caso franc\u00e9s<\/h2>\n<p>Con el a\u00f1o nuevo ha entrado en vigor una<a href=\"https:\/\/www.consalud.es\/pacientes\/francia-apuesta-por-la-obligatoriedad-de-las-vacunas-y-espana_45658_102.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> ley en el pa\u00eds vecino<\/a> en referencia a las vacunas. Y es que, aquellos ni\u00f1os que quieran entrar en una escuela o colegio del pa\u00eds, deber\u00e1n recibir previamente once vacunas de manera obligatoria. Se comenzar\u00e1 a comprobar que esta vacunaci\u00f3n se ha hecho efectiva a partir del 1 de junio.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfQu\u00e9 ocurre con la vacunaci\u00f3n obligatoria en Espa\u00f1a?<\/h2>\n<p>En Espa\u00f1a, cada enero se hace p\u00fablica la actualizaci\u00f3n del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suavinex.com\/livingsuavinex\/calendario-vacunaciones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">calendario vacunal<\/a> para el a\u00f1o entrante. En ella, la Asociaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Pediatr\u00eda hace la recomendaci\u00f3n de vacunar a todos los ni\u00f1os, pero, en \u00faltima instancia, son sus padres quienes toman la decisi\u00f3n de hacerlo o no. Esta recomendaci\u00f3n incluye tambi\u00e9n la de aquellas vacunas no financiadas por la seguridad social.<\/p>\n<p>La postura m\u00e1s generalizada, como recoge la Dra. Amalia Arce en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dra-amalia-arce.com\/2017\/10\/vacunacion-obligatoria\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">este post<\/a> en su blog, advierte de que la obligatoriedad no es necesaria. En nuestro pa\u00eds el n\u00famero de ni\u00f1os vacunados es alt\u00edsimo, por lo que se considera que el cambio tendr\u00eda justo el efecto contrario al esperado.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Si los ni\u00f1os no son vacunados se pierde el denominado \u201cefecto reba\u00f1o\u201d. <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>La importancia de la vacunaci\u00f3n de los ni\u00f1os<\/h2>\n<p>Las vacunas salvan vidas. A trav\u00e9s de ellas se ha conseguido erradicar enfermedades con un \u00edndice de mortalidad muy alto y frenar epidemias, adem\u00e1s de proteger a aquellas personas inmunodeprimidas cuyo contagio tendr\u00eda consecuencias muy serias.<\/p>\n<p>Esta vacunaci\u00f3n universal es important\u00edsima para que no se pierda el denominado efecto reba\u00f1o.
